Founded by Malaysians who live and work in Hong Kong and Macau.
The Malaysian Chamber of Commerce (Hong Kong & Macau) Limited [MayCham or MCCHKM] was successfully incorporated on 20 January 2014 by prominent Malaysian Individuals and business leaders residing in Hong Kong and Macau.
Six core objectives
Set out when the chamber was incorporated on 20 January 2014, in this order.
- To promote, support, and represent the interests of the Malaysian business community in Hong Kong, Macau and Southern China.
- To provide a network for Malaysian businesses in Hong Kong, Macau and Southern China to promote trade and investments in Malaysia.
- To assist Malaysian companies investing in Hong Kong, Macau and Mainland China, through networking and sharing of information.
- To provide a platform for Malaysian Government officials visiting Hong Kong or Macau to meet, interact and to know more about Hong Kong and Macau potentials in investments and trade in Malaysia.
- To provide a forum for the expression of opinions and exchange of business related information among its members and other institutions, enterprises, relevant bodies in Hong Kong and Macau or with the Malaysian authorities.
- To provide a platform in Hong Kong to facilitate link up with Malaysian Chambers of Commerce for better networking across the region.
MCCHKM participates in the International Business Committee, chaired by the Chief Secretary of HKSAR. This committee provides a forum for discussion between the Government and international business representatives on matters affecting the business environment and perceptions of Hong Kong.
In addition, we are also an active member of InterCham, the informal association of international chambers in Hong Kong.

Thanks to your commitment and engagement, the Malaysian Chamber of Commerce (Hong Kong & Macau) has enjoyed six years of steady growth, and in spite of the extraordinary environment we’re in this year, we have reached a stage where MAYCHAM commands a solid reputation in the community.

Executive Committee
The twenty elected at the Annual General Meeting on 23 June 2026, with the Patron and the honorary advisers.
Annual General Meeting was held on 23 June 2026 at the JW Marriott Hotel Hong Kong. We heard from Chairman Datuk Wira Song Hoi See who reported MAYCHAM had held 75 events, webinars and member offers organised or supported between May 2025 and June 2026, and called on members to participate actively and introduce new members.
